welcome to liminal space, a place where you can take all your fandom characters that maybe never quite fit in elsewhere, or you just want to see how they would react to a new scenario. here at liminal space, we believe that the sky is the limit when it comes to creativity and that you should be free to pick up or drop characters as often as you want. the basic rp rules apply. do not cross ooc/ic lines, do not godmod without a player's permission, and communicate with your fellow players and we should all be golden. make sure to use applicable trigger warnings in the subject lines of your netposts or in the header of your thread posts. above all, have fun, ask questions, and write, write, write!

before applying, make sure your username is related to the character in some way. have a backdated ooc post up in your journal for others to be able to contact you. optional, but you may also choose to have an ic spam post. if your character backstory is going to fit strictly within the canon, you NOT need to fill out a biosheet and may link to a wikipedia article dictating their character history. this is mostly in case some of us are not familiar with the canon. you may still choose to fill out a biosheet, but it is optional. all AU versions of character must fill out a biosheet to make sure all players understand the changes made to their canon.

your canon point does not need to be the tail end of their canon story. if you would like to bring in harry potter before the battle of hogwarts, then that absolutely works.

in lieu of activity requirements, submission of activity will result in certain bonuses over the course of the game. each month, there will be a new plot within the liminal space to encourage interaction outside of the portal jumping. narrative bonuses

submission of a narrative of at least 2000 words grants you a portal leading to a randomized canon or alternate universe setting.

netpost/thread bonuses

submission of completed threads of at least 10 total comments PLUS at least one netpost thread with at least 10 total comments or an open netpost with at least 10 responses from your character grants you a portal leading to a canon or alternate universe setting of your choosing.
